Welding Maintenance Technician

The Welding Maintenance Technician is part of the Facilities team which cross-supports duties for all sanctuary maintenance activities. The primary responsibility for this position is to deliver high quality welding on cages and structures to assure non-compromised safety of the chimpanzees and the caregiving staff.  When not actively involved in metalwork, this position will support other sanctuary maintenance actives as needed or directed by sanctuary leadership. This position requires flexibility to work as part of a diversified team while maintaining a professional and cooperative attitude.

Associate Veterinarian

The Associate Veterinarian will report to the Director of Veterinary Services and join an experienced team consisting of one additional veterinarian, two certified veterinary technicians, and one pharmacy assistant, to ensure the chimpanzees receive the highest quality of medical care. The candidate will provide full time veterinary care for sanctuary chimpanzees – this will include surgical procedures, diagnostics, preventative medicine, and necropsies.
