6th Annual

April 19, 2020

There is no other race like it in the world!

This unique course takes you through Save the Chimps – the world’s largest privately funded chimpanzee sanctuary, located in Fort Pierce, Florida. Enjoy hearing the wonderful sounds of pant hoots and watching the chimpanzees roam as you run beside their island homes. Out of consideration for our sanctuary residents, registration is limited. Early registration will open August 1, 2019.

Over 2,400 participants joined us over the last five years, raising over $200,000 to benefit the retired chimpanzees residing at Save the Chimps. Thank you to everyone who made our 5th Annual Chimpathon 16k a success! Let’s make this year even better!

100% of all dollars raised directly benefit our  chimpanzee residents!

It’s not just the course that makes Chimpathon special!

Every registrant will receive a Chimpathon t-shirt, and a goodie bag filled with an assortment of donated giveaways. Each finisher will receive a collectible Chimpathon medal.

Chimpathon athletes who finish in the top three overall spots and at the top of their age divisions will receive trophies featuring original chimpanzee artwork – priceless!

Race Director. Nancy Aadland, awarding a second-place male overall trophy
