The chimps love nuts in shells. They are scattered on the island for enrichment. This promotes the chimps’ natural behavior of foraging for food and stimulates activity. The chimps have such strong teeth and jaws that they are able to crack the nuts themselves. The nuts especially useful for enrichment are almonds, walnuts, pecans, and pistachios. Order through our Amazon Wishlist and items will ship directly to us. 1,300 lbs. TBD
