Volunteer Appreciation Day

Volunteers help with cooking pasta, making enrichment, assisting with office work, tabling events and so much more. They improve the lives of the chimpanzees in our care and their compassion & dedication are unmatched! It was our pleasure to dedicate a day to the people who dedicate so much to Save the Chimps!

Volunteers had the joy of watching Air Force Island’s Chimpentine’s party and witness first hand the excitement the chimps share on a special day. A variety of enrichment, goodies, decorations, and red roses were spread all over the island in celebration. Following the chimps party was a catered lunch with Air Force Island as the backdrop.
