Our 8th annual Chimps Kitchen was an evening to remember. We raised nearly $45,000 in net proceeds which will directly benefit our beloved chimpanzee residents!

We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from all who made this possible- our local celebrity chefs, sponsors, auction & raffle donors, attendees, and volunteers. Because of YOU, the more than 250 chimps in our care are living the peaceful and dignified retirement they deserve.

 

Our loyal event co-chairs Laura Guttridge and Judy Van Saun work tirelessly each year to promote this local signature event – we couldn’t do it without them! We are so grateful for their commitment and compassion for Save the Chimps.  Thank you Laura & Judy!

Thank you to Dorothy Napp Schindel, Steve Schindel, and Lila Blakeslee.  We met this amazing team years ago at Gallery 14 when they host Save the Chimps’ first chimp art show. This is the 8th year that they have handled the raffle, and it gets more exciting each year… nearly $3,000 in raffle tickets were sold on Thursday night! Thank you Dorothy, Steve, and Lila for being such loyal ambassadors for the chimps.
