We’ve asked some of our very own volunteers why they donate their time to
Save the Chimps, here’s what a few of them had to say…
Susan G. (volunteer since 2011)
“I have the time, and it is important to reach out to help others….. When I leave the compound, I feel good, I feel satisified, and I feel I have helped to make a difference in the lives of the chimps!”

Alison C. (volunteer since 2007)
“I truly believe that volunteering is the rent we pay for living.”

Sharon D. (volunteer since 2004)
“I originally started because I wanted to do something good…. Now I go because it is what I do on Sundays and I am a part of the place”

Art & Jean Z. (volunteers since 2011)
“Volunteering at STC has brought unimagined joy to our everyday lives!  We get a lot of laughs and a big kick out of the “kids,” as we call them – the paid employees of STC – who always greet us with smiles and friendliness.”
