Happy Banana-versary!
Happy Banana-versary!
Seven years ago, Save the Chimps rescued 266 chimpanzees from the Coulston Foundation, a research laboratory with a terrible record of chimpanzee care. Overnight Save the Chimps became the world’s largest chimpanzee sanctuary, and transformed what was once a lab into a sanctuary for chimpanzees. Thanks to the compassion, vision, and determination of our late Founder, Dr. Carole Noon, and the generous support of the Arcus Foundation, Save the Chimps is providing a brighter future for nearly 300 chimpanzees rescued from biomedical research, entertainment, and the pet trade.
The traditional 7th anniversary gifts are wool and copper, which for the chimps translates into blankets and pennies! Please help the chimps celebrate their Banana-versary by
sending a cozy blanket for the chimps to nest with, treats or toys for them to enjoy
or by making a
generous donation
to help us care provide the care they deserve. Your donation will be matched by the Arcus Foundation.
Save the Chimps is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization and all contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. For your tax records, our Federal Tax ID number is: 65-0789748.
