2nd Annual Bowl-a-Thon Update

We were thrilled by the turnout – just over 60 bowlers spent their afternoon at St. Lucie Lanes in Fort Pierce rolling strikes and sometimes gutter balls. There were door prizes, a silent auction and raffle items – something for everyone, with all proceeds benefiting Save the Chimps!

A special guest appearance was made by Brandon Wood – December 2009 Chimp Champ. His mom drove him down so that he could spend the afternoon with us! We are grateful to local area businesses who generously donated items to us – this event could not have been a success without their support!

A big pant hoot goes out to everyone who participated, local business owners and to Phyllis, her sister Anne and the rest of their crew for dedicating their time and effort and putting together a great event and fun afternoon!
