Normand is one of the few chimps born at the Coulston Foundation who was raised by his mother, Ethyl. He was by her side until she passed away in her sleep on May 5, 2009. Normand has his mother’s confidence and independent spirit, and he is coping with her loss well. This rambunctious, playful young man carries his mother’s spirit with him as he sets foot into the Florida sunshine!
